On Thursday,
February 14th 2002, the Top of the World Trade Center Observatories
is proud to announce it will organize it's fifth annual Valentine's
Day Wedding Marathon. This event is absolutely free for the
couples and their families.
We will
marry up to 55 couples (we are, after all, 110 stories high)
on the 107th floor in-door observation deck. A wedding chapel
will be built for this purpose. Officials (Judge, Minister)
will be performing the ceremonies, there will be gifts and larger
prizes for every couple, wedding music, and, as usual, a lot
of press coverage.
The rules are
as follows:
If you want
to be one of the lucky couples to get married at the Top of
the World, please send us a letter, explaining why you should
be one of these couples.
- You can
fax it to 212-323-2352
- or e-mail
it to OBDECK@aol.com
- or mail
it to TOW, Two WTC, #1520, NYC 10048
- Please
write at the top of your essay/letter: "Ref: Valentine's Day
Wedding Marathon 2002".
Once you
are chosen you will be contacted by us with further instructions.
Important is that we will be able to schedule you for a specific
time on that day and that you will be able to obtain a New York
State Marriage License at least 24 hours before the ceremony
takes place. And we'll do the rest!
Each couple
will receive a free ceremony; champagne, coffee and snacks before
the ceremony; up to ten additional free admissions (for the
accompanying family) and discounted admission for any additional
people.
So don't wait
and contact us now!
